The Inferno 72 is the model created by Sharp Eye Surfboards for the 2021 Stab in The Dark Contest in collaboration with Dark Arts. This model was the final choice of Taj Burrow, the 2021 SITD winner. Originally designed for Filipe Toledo to compete in the Surf Ranch Pro in 2020, where he won first place.
This is the board you grab when you want to get the job done. This model is based on a proven QS favorite, a tuned version of the Disco Inferno. More rocker has been added at the entry and exit of the board for more hold in turns and drive. This board surfs at its best in small to medium high waves and can take you from mushy waves to hollow sections.
